Build a Game with mBlock/Scratch #2
Use mBlock or Scratch start coding and creating a game on your computer. First watch the video below and follow it step by step.
*Go Beyond the original instructions:
-Add a backdrop scene
- When you are done add a sound when the bullet comes out as you press the space bar.
-Next, add a sound when the bullet touches the falling object.
-Add music to your game.
When you are done take a screen shot of your finished game and turn it in through google classroom. Be sure to show your teacher as well.

1. Download Audacity or Find on your computer.
2. Practice Recording your voice. 3. Learn to add an effect to your voice by changing the pitch as shown in the second slide. 4. Learn to add Reverb (echo) to your voice by adding more or less reverb effects as shown in slide 4. Change the Reverberance as shown on slide 5. 5. Save and Export the file as a wave file to your computer so you can use it in your scratch coding project. See slide 6 & 7. 6. Then import the file into scratch as shown in slide 8. |
1. To add a new fortune teller sprite to your collection, first to a google search for "Fortune Teller vector".
2. Find a picture that you like and download/save it to your computer. 3. Then import it to Scratch as shown in slide 3. 4. Choose costume as shown in slide 4. 5. Once you've imported it, edit the picture if necessary by removing any of the background color that you don't want. Use the eraser tool as shown in slide 5. 6. Now that sprite is part of your sprite collection as shown in slide 7. |
